
Anyway, wedding done, thought I would crack on. Ordered a few parts from the states (just waiting for the gauges now) and am starting to tackle the electrics.

Quite agree - and a fuse on the alternator to battery wire in case it gets ripped off or an otherwise innocent fire damages the insulation.....bonerp wrote:heres a tip....put a fuse or resistor in the circuit for the rev counter and a large fuse on the battery. My regulator failed, cooked the battery and took out my vintage speedster rev counter which took 3 months to get the relevant spares from china to fix...although I bet much of that delay was down to speedycables incompetance.
I have lots of wiring diagrams just shout if you want anything. Gary helped me no end and the end result is darn good.
