A steering wheel is a steering wheel?

It was on my RHD car. I have just had the original recovered and now have a spare.

I thought about £120 is about right but not sure.

Cheers

Ok, ok I'm being facetious but the descripton's a bit loose. A photo would be good.

I believed that 400MM ones were not desirable (in relation to double wrapped 380mm ones) and advertised one earlier this year or late last year in very usable condition for something like £80 or £85. I could have sold it numerous times over based on the interest in my inbox. £100-120 seems fair imho as thats what they fetch on ebay.

Is a 400mm steering wheel correct for a German 1973 F Series E?

Thanks,

All '69-'73 T/E/S models came with a 400mm wheel fitted as std.

In '73 I think it was only std on the S model (T & E models being fitted with an imitation leather wheel) but could be ordered as an option.

Thanks Andy,

I recently purchased a 400mm and had it refurbished, didn't realise there were different types!

There were at least 6 different varieties of the 400mm steering wheel:

- hard plastic ('69-'71)
- imitation leather ('72/'73)
- leather ('69-'73)

& each was available in std or 'extended hub' versions.
