2.4E Info Please

Hello everyone,

New to the world of forums and early 911s so please be nice to the new boy!

Just started the restoration of my 1973 2.4E and would love to dig up some more history on the car. If anyone can pass on any knowledge or history about my car it will be very much appreciated. If you've owned or know the previous owners please get in touch.

Brief details and ownership history below (hope this is ok):

2.4E Registered in Germany January 1973, registration MI-CA 491.
Imported to UK December 1983, original registration as Q150GFR.
Now on age related plate since 1989.
Ownership:
Dec 83 - May 88 - Ian Herbert Jones - Chorley
May 88 - Mar 89 - Gerry Geoghan - Walsall
Mar 89 - Jun 89 - John Feeley - Walsall
Jun 89 - Nov 10 - Simon Hughes - Wales/Oxford

Will start a restoration thread when i've worked out how all this works.

Hi Darren.
Welcome to the forum. Nice car you have got yourself. Hopefully other more knowledgable comrades will give you some history. You probably have read through various posts, so have some idea what we are like. A broad church I like to think.
Read the instructions on posting photos - basically you need to use a photo hosting site such as Photobucket, then copy the IMG code and paste into your post.

I appreciate the tip, i've read about others struggling to upload their photos elsewhere.
Now i just need to work out how to use that camera.........

Evening All,

Just wanted to flag this request again with the hope that someone possessing info may have missed it when first posted.

Pictures can now be seen on my resto thread with details of original spec etc.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
