Could be the multi pin connector at the back of the left side electrical panel in the engine bay.

Panic over!

When I broke down I was on my way to see my daughter starring as Mole in Wind in the Willows so didn't have time to check much out.

So I've just come out of an hour an a half of theatre darlings. Got back got to the car where the recovery truck was waiting.

Checked the 3 fuses in the back of the engine bay and found a loose terminal and blown fuse. Changed it and voilà! She runs.

Now off to give her a good run on some country roads.

Thanks for all the tips

Indeed, something so simple!
If I hadn't have been rushing to the theatre I could have avoided the call to the AA and took my time to check everything over.
I always carry plenty of fuses so it's worth any CLM attendees doing the same, you never know!

Good news indeed. Least you had spare 911 as well as a spare fuse.
