SOLD! 914 1970 1.7 tax exempt...at last :)

Post by jonnoshore »

I had this up for sale on Pistonheads last year.

It has a recent MOT and is solid in the inner wings and I had all the hell holes repaired at great cost and haven't really got the motivation to finish the interior which lets the side down to be honest.

An honest European 1970 1.7 that needs a loving home.

Open to sensible credit crunch beating offers :) I'm nowhere near the breadline though so not too silly...

An Ideal 914/6 car maybe? the right age... 1970

Structurally the car is very sound as it has spent the most of it's life garaged... has SS heat exchangers and all the values etc work so it is a runner as it is.

It is now for sale on ebay classified's with a make me an offer function...

The car is up for sale. I'm flexible to offers but only onced viewed as they are meaningless otherwise.

I'm based in Essex. E-mail if interested.

With the £:€ so weak I'm surprised this isn't going abroad as my Lancia did.

More pictures below:

I live in Chelmsford.

I think if you changed that mis-matched alloy and changed the painted front indicators, I bet it would sell quicker...

...also, like I mentioned in the email, you can ask a friendly garage to collect and MOT :) if you don't have insurance and that is the only reason it is not MOT'd...this will help it sell.

I would still be interested, and at the price you mentioned in your email, if it is MOT'd.

John, I am very interested in buying your 914. I have sent you 2 emails and rang once and left a message to call me back. You have not answered any of these. Is the car still for sale?

Many thanks

What I didn't realise is it had an MOT which expired about 2 weeks ago...

Sold to a new owner from Kent so you may see it down there soon enough.

Right I'm now down to 2 cars...
