hello all,
I'm on the scrounge again...
I went to see a car yesterday, which looked very nice, but I'm wondering if it is a matching numbers car... the Chassis Number is 9111101307 and the engine number is 611220. It was a 71 T.
is there any way of finding this out without owning the car?
thanks for the help!

There's a digit missing from the engine number - it should be in the format:
611 XXXX

idiot that I am - spoken to the owner - I missed a Zero off the end so the engine number should read:
6112200.
thank you!

The records I have show that is the correct engine number for that chassis number. UK RHD 2.2T Coupe originally in Pastel Blue.

superb - if its the one I think it is, it looks lovely - especially now the price has come down a bit ! - good luck with that.
cheers for the link - sadly its a Left Hooker ( oooh errr ) which is a deal breaker for the wife.
