Did you get anywhere with this? Just asking because I've found somewhere in Germany that sells them and don't want to buy one from there if you have gone to the trouble of doing it!

I am also looking for the same connector, made up with the cable and the connection at the iPod end.

I managed to source one from the vinatge wireless company eventually.
