Greetings from SW Scotland

Post by brembo »

Hello everybody - great site.
Bought my 1st Porsche 10 years ago (3.2 Carrera) & was hooked!
Traded in 3 years ago for RS replica, built by Tony Outridge, of the now defunct Porschons. Have spent the last 18 months converting to RSR replica. Currently running on a 3litre engine on webbers (approx 240bhp)but would like to change to twin plug & mfi set-up.

Welcome Dougie, another Scottish member. Soon we will have enough to break away from the English and gain our independence

Whereabouts are you? South West Scotland is a big place!

Dougie - be careful of those two above. One steals your car and claims it as his own, the other is a Dentist masquerading as an Optician!

Thanks for the comments guys.
Brendan - I'm near Newton Stewart in Wigtownshire.
Mike - I'll get in touch next time I'm up your way, or if you're in this area drop me an email. Was it your black RS I saw at Culzean?

Yes Dougie that was mine. The DDK stand was small but as you can see from Helen's pictures we had a good spread of models and all rather nice. You should have said 'hello'. We had a get together on the Saturday night and you would have been more than welcome to join us. Your car looks superb and it would be nice to get together before the salt comes to the roads. I can't believe there is a car such as yours so close by. I have never seen you 'out and about'. It's about time we made a challenge to the regular meets of the guys down in Yorkshire and have a mini Scottish get together. I have sent you a pm.

Regards
Mike

A Scottish get together would be a great idea and I could even bring a piece of my car along in a plastic bag
