Are the pre 67 beetle headlights and those required for a Speedster rep one in the same?

Thats what I used.

I went for the US spec (clear lenses) as these are much cheaper than the patterned lense units. My lights are hidden by grilles anyway....

They're the ones that I bought.

Inner frame benefited from being powder coated again as the original coating was poor - much like most brazilian VW parts....

You're right there Simon!

I have seen some at twice the price which are better quality and better chrome but can't remember where
