Looks great - shame the steering wheel is on the wrong side though...

This is one lovely car, matching numbers, loads of history, freshly rebuilt engine by Porsche Centre Guildford, all the right bits too. I drove it around the Goodwood circuit, it's definitely not a track car!

What a lovely, lovely old thing! Congratulations! It looks in great shape - do you know it's history? Has it had a major body rebuild? What a find...

Cheers, Jon

Hi Jon,

Thanks for comments. One of the great things about the car is its extensive history; three huge files including one comprehensive photo file of a total restoration carried out in the '80's (not quite as fresh 20 years down the road though!). I'm really looking forward to sitting down and going through everything more thoroughly.

The last owner had it for 13 years and I'd known him for the last seven. We often discussed his car but little did I I know it would be mine one day!

Hi Barry,

I'm certainly aiming for the Americana Breakfast Club on the 7th; I try and make them all but annoyingly missed the German one this year. Watch out for the car in the Tunbridge Wells area on the weekends (and the Blackheath area during the week).

See you soon!
