My beast

Post by edwardo »

A massive thanks to Alan.Uk for making this happening and putting up with my constant calling and emailing. I can't recommend his work highly enough. Incredible attention to detail. He has posted many times on its resto but here it is in its almost completed glory. Admittedly, there are a number of non-stock changes but for me it's turned it into my favourite car so far.

Hopefully this works (2nd attempt posting pictures)

Looks nice :)
But I saw the pictures by copy/paste the link into a new browser window. I've not managed to direct link to my Picasa photos yet, shame 'cos I like the Picasa interface. I use Photobucket.com for the pictures I direct link to here on DDK.
HTH and if you find out how to direct link, please let me know
Cheers

Cheers for the comments. It certainly turns heads.

Gear knob round the wrong way because I was trying to change it. Couldn't get it off before its big photshoot so hoped no-one would notice. :)

Very cool car in a glorious colour. Is that Gemini Blue Ed? Could you confirm the colour for me?

Cheers,

Suitable sized open ended spanner underneath the knob around the lever shaft and hammer against the spanner to ease it off.

Had been following Alan's restoration thread on the car - it looks lovely.

- been trying to identify whereabouts the car is parked - looks like somewhere around North Kensington/Paddington (Westbourne Park Road area) ?

Cheers.

Close by, one road down from Westbourne Park Road. Not far from the Bonaparte if you know the local pubs.
