Re: Please dont buy these tyres off of me!

I haven't thought about putting whitewalls on my car for ages.

Rather nice 56 Outlaw that is for sale from Europe Collectibles. Unfortunately the metal grill on top of the air horns are useless as air filters and restrict the flow https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210123/eb2c74fff11d0ae5479160fbdececa8f.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20210123/9587a6831e...

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

There was a Derek Alderson who had a successful business, Rochdale Caravan services, who was racing a Rochdale Olympic and Lotus Elites in the early 60s. Perhaps he would own a 356. "Yet another milestone in the history of Rochdale Motor panels was Derek Alderson, a likeable and flamboyant char...

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

Early in 1965, AFN had two 356s in stock, chassis 129779 and 127519. 12977 had a C spec engine and had been in stood, unsold for nearly a year. In February 1965 the car was at last sold to a Mr Alderson of Rochdale but not before the engine was swapped for the more powerful SC engine from chassis 12...

Re: Hydraulic Tensioners on 2.0 Motor

Chris, there is a good guide to installing the late style chain tensioners in Wayne Dempsey's 101 projects for your 911. There's too much text for me to type out this morning and I'm not near a printer/scanner. It does say the kit will fit cars from '69 to '83. "Engines from '65 and '66 cannot ...

Re: No none electric car sales from 2030??

My 3.2 is getting leggy at 140K miles, and the thought of a motor onto the good 915 box etc appeals as an alternative to the 6K rebuild. Just the range.... My normal longest journey is to Silverstone and back, about 150 miles usually cruising. Not just the range that's disappointing, watching Moggy...

Re: Frothing oil

Have you over filled the oil perhaps ? The crank will froth the oil if the level is too high.
