I fear I may of offended Mr Donkins southern sensibilities, sorry Ian but words like that are just a term of endearment oop North. :) Brilliant Mike, truly brilliant. It's not often I get to hear that word down South and it's never delivered with the same Northern 'Uh' for the second letter. Moment...

Ian Donkin on here has also owned one and covered a few miles in it - he's another advocate for them. Yes I am! I used mine as a daily drive for 19,000 miles in no time (and no time ;-)) at all - a brilliant and exceptionally capable car your granny could drive IMHO. And don't be scared off by mile...

If the Dave Dennet car, didn't that used to be a blue shell that was specially lightened, but had no proof of providence? I seem to remember Colin Belton suggesting to me years ago that the shell started out uber cheap to Dave, but then rocketed when there became a suggestion that it could be quite ...

Charlotte couldn't get the Range Rover out of her head so we bought a sub 40k '03 4.4 petrol Vogue in August this year to replace an '07 VW Touareg V6 TDI. It's now on LPG and apart from a cam position sender (known BMW fault) and alternator (see cam position sender) it has been kind to us thus far....

Confused here!

We went to the Brooklands Museum on the Saturday (we're Trust Members) and there was some sort of auction there too - was this a full weekend-and-a-bit event?

Great pictures as always Paul 8)

Quite disconcerting to my brain trying to resolve this image, but I...

My old 525D Touring had a turbo (at 132,000 miles) - totally gutless when the old one failed; I mean lethargic like you can't imagine. I sourced a brand new turbo from a friend in the trade for less than £500 and my local indie at the time (ex BMW franchise) fitted it for about £180 all in with an o...

I have no design advice to offer whatsoever, but as per one of Steve's earlier points, if I was being asked to lay down the money to pay for it (assuming I had the funds), I'd be more than happy to part with my cash. I'm sure this is going to be just fabulous 8) and after all, what's wrong with bene...

Well done Ian - a late 964; I think these are often under-rated and I'm sure you'll have great fun in it. :)
