Try Mittelmotor, their on line catalogue should have something. They are German but speak great technical English and are very efficient.

It's quite difficult to believe that they can be so cheap compared to what we pay in this country. When you order is there the option of having them ready to accept electric window switches or manual winders?

I've heard from all of the PP posts that the Appbiz stuff is good quality but can you confirm that with postage, tax (?) etc that is is cheaper than Southbound? More specifically, how much are the RS door panels costing? And I was always told that it was rude to ask how much things cost!!!!!!!!!!! Ian

Try Mittelmotor in Germany, they have a great on-line catalogue, are reasonable priced and speak excellent technical English. I have always had good dealings with them.

I had a similar problem occur on my '79 SC. First the tacho needle swung all over the place, later the chraging light came on but not very bright. Eventually turned out to be failing, but not yet failed, alternator. Took ages to confirm because it appeared to be putting out just enough charge. Hope ...

You get the same occuring on 911s, I was advised to check the crankcase breather pipe for cracks etc. I found it to be in need of replacement and it appears to have helped reduce the mayo.
