Re: Hope I don't regret this!

Oelala, now then now then. That looks like a weapon, especially in your capable hands! So now there is not only a fast Cayenne Turbo in sinister Black (she is even more capable, obviously), but now closely followed by a Cayman R on them Lincolnshire roads..... However, do you fit in it comfortably, ...

Re: Fuchs?....

But presumably the K is slightly softened.. How do you do a soft K? Fooks. Pronounce ch sound. To create the /ʧ/, air is briefly prevented from leaving the vocal tract when the tip of the tongue presses against the back tooth ridge while the sides of the tongue press against the upper side teeth. T...

Re: Winter driving - what car?

If the weather gets nasty (which admittedly hasn't happened for a couple of winters in my area) there isn't nothing better than a car which ticks the following boxes - 1) you don't give a sh17 about it & the salt caked on the bodywork. 2) It's sitting on winter tyres. Have you considered a tran...

Re: New 911 exhaust from Vintage Speed

Hi Keith, Interesting proposition, but the link is stating 2500 US dollars for headers and back box.... How much is the back box alone, incidentally? Finally, I would be really interested to see how these compare to some of the known UK based enterprises that can do seemingly the same for a lot less...

Re: Tangerine 911T restored at home on a very tight budget !

Georg Kompecher, a Swiss friend young in age but experienced in the Porsche world said to me once: "Of the 20 porsche specialists in Switzerland, only 2 weren't done for bad workmanship or tax evasion". That could very well be true, to some extend, for other countries. So, welcome to the &...

Re: Aga Blue 67S

You know, when Phil was selling her, he offered her to me and I went down to see him. He kindly put me onto the insurance and we went for a good drive. Its still one of THE great drives and when I took the wheel, it was as if I fitted into a comfortable brogue. I wish I didn't blow 40k on a wedding ...
