That's great, thanks very much for taking the time to write that up. Really appreciate it.
As I recall the gearbox was rebuilt at the time of restoration so all should be in order when correctly adjusted.
I'll let you know how I get on !

I took delivery of my “new/ old” 911 T 2.4 yesterday . I had the car restored by Nick Moss at "Early 911" in 2013 but sold it to a friend just as the restoration was being completed. He kept it for eight years and I bought it back from him last week. In total he's driven about 120 miles in...

An American friend of mine, who's now 80, had three GTO's in the late 60's early 70's ( he was the Ferrari dealer for San Francisco during that time) he bought his last one for $12,500 in 1972 ) so I would guess that ad' must be around 1969 / 1970 .targa/red wrote:what year was the add posted
