Re: Oil Cooler advise
To test the old one I bolted this steel plate to it with the tyre vales fitted to locate in the flow return holes. Pumped in 30psi and stuck it in a bucket of water. Reminded me of that joke about the nuns in a bath http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy262/judthedog/7a1537668155bcb33dc75b7c815cbc03_...

Re: Oil Cooler advise
Tim Mine leaked so I got one from euro car parts. Not made by behr anymore but a genuine part. About £700 but cheaper than OPC. http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy262/judthedog/f25e12d695f02c64c3dc64da0b0fcadc_zps6c28a1f1.jpg http://i798.photobucket.com/albums/yy262/judthedog/778fc4ff8c23853510c7d...

I know Daz but I've never been the best at getting organised and I've missed the boat this time.

I too won't be going but would like one. So again, if there are spares after all the attendees are sorted.

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
True I have been quiet. Ashamed to say the car hasn't turned a wheel since classics at the castle last year. I lurk though. How is it that you think it's mine Tom? I would be interested to find out where my car was for the first 30 years but that one isn't mine. Mine is a 72 with the silly oi...

Re: 911 Targa Roll bar cover bolts
There's good news and bad news. I had a broken stud which I replaced by welding in a suitable length 6mm bolt. The cover is stainless but the lug/bracket on the backside took a weld no problem without any blueing of the outer skin. They do need a nut and washer on from under the wing to pull the cov...
