Thanks for the tip. It might be better to go then either with the Weltmeister adjustable spring plate with different bushings or the Wevo (big money).
At this time I expect to be at the San Diego PC event on 17 Dec. Are you from the area?

Does any one have experience (with long wheel base B cars 1969 in specific) : changing from a 901 333 003 01 fixed spring plate to a 911 333 009 00 adjustable spring plate from a later 911 before the G 50 on the earlier car and will it fit without any mods? I bought a set in USA 18 months ago, and paid something like $600. Pelican Parts have a nice dash cover that costs $80. Factory new dash boards cost something liek $1200. You can buy carbon fibre look dashs for probably about $350, and in normal plastic for $250. Those are ex-works prices so figure ...
