You might have better luck posting them on the MG Owners Club forum - I sold a similar set of carbs on there a few years ago. Otherwise, Retro Rides could be good too. All the best, Steven cheers seems they are fitted to Ferrari etc too, I have another set so perhaps 4 are worth more that 2 lots of...

Seems he changed the oil to fully synthetic 5/30, it’s only got 60k on the clock so hopefully no need for a rebuild just yet, but I assume the oil spec to be the problem?

will do, its only when the temp is right up, whats the best grade of oil, hes change it but said it was correct

morning folks, just bringing my friends car out of its 10 plus year hibernation, got the brakes sorted, engine runs sweet after some tinkering, but the oil light comes on after it gets hot, oil pressure shows 1 bar a bit more perhaps at idle, goes up 1 bar per 1k rpm, tank oil level is at the top ma...

So what you're suggesting is that using the paperwork of a Beetle, you shorten the chassis and fit a kit car body, tell nobody, then drive it and hope you don't have an accident, or get followed by a police car with an NPR camera installed... The days of trying to pull the wool over the eyes of off...
