Re: Rear Valance
It's to go on a backdated SC so will probably need a little massaging to fit either way.

Rear Valance
I'm after a rear valance/skirt for a longhood car. The slotted aluminium/stainless/chrome type. Anybody have one cluttering up a shelf somewhere?
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: 993 TT bad handling around at speed
I've had both my 911 and my Civic Type R set up at CG. They do a terrific job.

Re: 993 TT bad handling around at speed
When I had a (N/A) 993 on standard Sachs shocks the handling was abysmal. They aren't good for more than 40k miles apparently. I would advise changing those. I went for Bilstein B6 items. It changed the car. I don't know if a turbo is the same, but if it still has the factory items I'd advise refres...

Re: Throttle Bodies
I wouldn't think so without a great deal of effort. The spindles are only through 3 each side so you'd need to cut one body off and find a way to actuate that, either by coupling the spindles or a mechanism. It'd be far easier finding a set of four together I'd say.

Re: Throttle Bodies
Well thanks for assisting me by pointing out how difficult it is to use them. I guess that's why they've played pass the parcel for the last couple of years and I'm the one left with them. I'll put them eBay instead. Mods, please lock or delete this thread. I've listed them elsewhere. If they fail t...

Re: Throttle Bodies
I wouldn't know about that. I'm just trying to sell on some throttle bodies that I have no use for. They are in good condition and have had some machining done to the manifolds already to help them line up to 911 cylinder heads, as per earlier posts. I'm asking £200 delivered in the UK which is les...

Re: Advice on accessing a gunged up air fuel mix adjuster on
I had thought the engine needs dropped a little to get the CIS and manifolds off? I got mine out without lowering the engine. I didn't have a soundpad in there at the time. If it does need dropping it'll just be a case of supporting the engine on a jack and lowering the back an inch or two. Fingers...

Re: Advice on accessing a gunged up air fuel mix adjuster on
Actually removing the whole CIS isn't that difficult to be fair. Just be careful not to drop anything down the inlets when you lift the manifolds off. The mixture screw is a pig to get to. You could just split all the fuel lines to the distributor and take that off, but access might still be constra...

Hi Stuart, I'm still in Brigg, just off the M180. Your guys never gave me a call last time we chatted so I assumed it wasn't a job you wanted.

Re: Rear quarter window rubbers
I had exactly the same Porsche side window rubbers and the window fitter just couldn't get them to fit so put the old ones back in. He did make an arse of my front and rear screens too though so make of that what you will. I haven't been able to get anyone to fit mine properly despite calls to a num...
