Re: Wing Mirror fitment
Sorry Andy, yes you are right they are both on the doors. Just automatically call them wing mirrors.
Nige, no nothing welded up, its a narrow body G model with the larger stainless stell / chrome mirrors. Passenger one I had put on years ago, the drivers is the original.

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?
I haven't driven my 912E since mid november and boxster since mid december. We have lots of flooding around here and with no reason to drive other than for pleasure they've sat put on a trickle charger. Fingers crossed we get a window with drier weather before the roads need to be salted again.

Re: Goodwood Revival 2024
if you really wanted to splash out you could get the march enclosure. But like everything the more you add the more almost eye wateringly expensive it gets. Most important thing is obviously the dressing up though

Re: More from Big Brother, aka DVSA
Its definitely true and like all insurance is risk based on stats. Age wise, the most accidents are 17-24, it then plateaus to much lower risk all the way and starts rising again at 80. This is not a debate about whether premiums are fair are not, more that expect to pay more if you are 18 or 80 and...

Re: Porsche for sale of the day..........
Well it’s a SWB, can’t think of anything positive to say other than that. Anybody know the car? The seller’s description says bodywork condition is excellent. But the photos to me look like the sills, b pillars and floor board are pretty rusty to me. Nevermind all the missing bits and unknown engine...

Re: Window seal issue

Lets just hope I don't miss and smash the windscreen :) :) :) I used a nylon hammer! :) Had a quick 2 mins knock and definitely moved. Its only about 1mm over, but its really cold today, so I am thinking maybe warmer day or a ...
