Re: Porsche "Pepita" (Houndstooth) fabric
Hi Garry,
amazing work, I am very interested. Is this the right material for a 1972 911? Are 2 meters of material sufficient for 2 sport seats?
Thank you,
Jan

Re: Removing paint from bit's that shouldn't be painted
For removing overspray I can commend an aircraft product named Colour-Ex (former distributor was Wolf-Tech, smitec today). Since it is based on alcohol, it is less aggressive and easier to handle than classic thinners. It works perfect to remove viper green overspray on my current restoration. :) Th...

Do you happen to have a pair of 90mm/3.5'' spaced front struts left?
Thank you,

Hello everyone, Unfortunately I have missed to book tickets on time for this year's Goodwood Revival. If somebody has up to 4 tickets (General admission Adults) for Saturday, 13 September 2014 to pass, I would be most grateful (I have confirmed flights from Switzerland :( ). Thank you very much. An...

Re: Inner wing repair/donor panel (80's Carrera)
Hi Gwyn,
Just made a fon call: I am sorry to say the respective section was cut up during repair.
F and G model inner wing panels take different turns in the front area, unfortunately.
You might be lucky to find a section at Steve Strange's, he's got offers in Ebay UK.
Best of luck

Re: Inner wing repair/donor panel (80's Carrera)
Gwyn, I might be able to help you as a new genuine Porsche left-hand side inner wing of an impact bumper was used during the restoration of my 72 911. I am pretty sure we cut out the section that you are looking for as a whole since we welded in the original battery box section. I will talk to the c...

Re: 911 Doors - difference with early and later doors?
Here are some examples of additional holes that Gary was referring to: That's again an early G model door with comes with 3 holes in the front inner section (AFAIK for power mirror/window wiring loom; compared to 1 hole in LWB F model doors) and an additional third hole in the rear inner section (AF...
