I've had something very similar on my 3.2 - tried lot of things but stupidly it came down to a sticking throttle linkage - bit of lube & it was good as new. I sussed it out by the fact that I could drop the revs by pulling the throttle up instead of down, and also when I did the same sort of thr...

Yes please - that would be absolutely brilliant - I popped down to the garage today and thankfully they hadn't started putting the light in yet.

I've ordered two proper ones now and they'll fit them when they arrive so a picture would be brilliant thanks

Cheers

KS has a couple of nifty little one's on his backside. Thanks for that - I didn't want to put anything on the bumper itself though - I wanted to put something on the underside of the engine lid so it won't be seen. What was on the originals? Have they tried moving slightly the bonnet Pin Thanks for...

I've posted this on the 911 forum as well, but can anyone tell me where to get a rear numberplate light? I need to fit some sort of light - the garage are insisting on putting one in just in case there is any comeback on them, so we're fitting something as a stopgap in the meantime. I want to fit so...

Number plate lights

Can anyone tell me where to get a rear numberplate light for an early 911? I'm backdating my '87 911 and this has come up. I want to fit something to the rear underside of the engine cover so that it can't be seen from the outside. What & where was the original fitment? - if anyone has got any p...

Thanks for those pics Tim - I've laminated one to take down to the garage as they were interested in seeing before & after shots Just been down now and the front bumper is on - it's looking good http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/markslade/DSC00143.jpg However I'm not entirely happy with the...

Not if I can avoid it!

Actually no I don't come across very often - but I might do a bit more after this - there are some great roads in derbyshire.

I actually work in Sutton in Ashfield which is just across the border - & that's where the car is being worked on

Cheers

Er... it HAS taken months - I put it in the garage on the 5th September! Anyway it's moving along brilliantly now & thanks for your comments. I've never actually liked the ducktails, until I saw a very early video of an RS going through some curves - then I could see the appeal. However I just r...
