A bit O/T but did anyone get any photos of car 35 in the Lavant Cup 2-driver event? It's a red Elva Mk4 raced by good friend (which won its class in the '59 Sebring 12hr).

Unfortunately I missed the action this year as I was stuck at the boat show

I then worked in marine industrial design (mainly self-employed) while racing multihull yachts for fun. That led to me becoming the UK dealer for a range of high performance trimarans about 5 years ago That explains Dragonfly the name. If I'd known I'd have come and said hello at the boatshow last ...

Managed to get a first class honours degree in car (transport) design from Coventry University... I guess I was there before you as it was still a Poly then, and the course was Industrial Design (Transportation). I then worked in marine industrial design (mainly self-employed) while racing multihul...

Great to hear you got it sorted and can now have fun with your new toy as planned! The UK banks are a disgrace - IMO your bank should have done a gratis same-day CHAPS payment as they stopped the original and then replaced rather than re-sending your funds. I have to transfer large sums to a Europea...

Hi there, Wanted to look at the car, everything seemed to be fine. However, I did an "Autocheck" and there it said "This car is recorded as being a write-off by an insurance company on 25/01/2001. Status is CAT B BODY CRUSHED." Therefore I cancelled everything.... Since not comm...

What a fantastic machine, and a fascinating project!
I have loads of respect for those who wander off the usual path and create something so unique. Have fun with it now the hard work is near the end

I've run a Defender 110 TD5 for a year or so and thoroughly enjoy it. It's a vehicle which polarises opinion though. It's either a class-less classic with functional simplicity, or a crude old truck... take your pick I use mine almost daily including towing a 3T trailer, taking family on holiday, fr...

Thanks Helen

The Clubsport certainly convinced me that less is more. Great though it was, it didn't inspire like a 911

Having lurked here for a while, your project has finally motivated me to register.

Your car is absolutely stunning and a great inspiration. Once business returns to some form of normality, it might even motivate me to push the button on my own plans.

peering over the parapet - new member

Hello, I've been lurking for some time now, and was finally prompted to sign up so I could add to the chorus of admiration for Ferryman's stunning ST Although I don't run a 911 yet, I'm getting close to fulfilling a long term promise to myself. I drove my first 911 aged 17, having started working sc...
