Blockley Tyre company
Blockley are I believe a relatively new and low volume producer of tyres and tubes for Classic Cars. At the London Classic Car Show in January they quoted me £300+VAT for a set of their 165 VR 15 tyres. I have a set of 5.5Jx15 steel wheels for my 1968 911L that I am intending to put these on. I stil...

Sportomatic Vacuum Hose (911L)
I need to replace the Vacuum Hose from the Solenoid to the Servo Motor (905 108 703 00). The shorter hose to the Reservoir has been replaced so is in good condition. This is no longer available from Porsche. :( Can anyone suggest a source of suitable Vacuum Hose. If anyone has a hose in good conditi...

Re: Front under tray for SWB 911/912
Hi,
Bent one up out of 1 mm Aluminium plate for my RHD 911L to protect rack and brake master.
Would be interested if anyone makes a proper job of it.
Thanks

Currently working on rear screen/parcel shelf of my 1968 911L Sporto. Parcel shelf being repaced but Porsche no longer make the Heating Nozzles that fit in the corners (901 572 041/2 22 part no.) Does anyone know if these, the sleeves and tubes are produced by anyone these days? Sorry no picture. :(...

Steel Wheel paint
Have just got four 5.5J steel wheels for my 1968 911L Sporto. Currently wearing 2/73 6J x 15 Fuchs with 185HR15 Vredenstein Srint Classic tyres which look to big. The car should have been supplied with 5.5J steels as the Porsche certificate does not list Fuchs option. Can anyone tell me what paint c...

Rear Screen corner corrosion
Dear All, I am about to get the corrosion around the bottom rear screen corners on my 1968 911L sorted. I presume the corrosion which is mainly on the inside (but now breaking through the outer surface) is due to condensation from the hot air that is directed up to the rear screen on these early mod...

Front windscreen seal

My screen will be out for respray and leaks around the corners between glass and seal. What are peoples experiences with the different versions. Bas...

Which Paint for 1968 911L - Polo Red (6802)
Following work to the lower door panels and both corners at the bottom of the rear screen these parts and bonnett will need repainting. It seems the two choices for a full respray are Acrylic Lacquer or Two Pack. What is the "considered" opinion on which way to go for authenticity, best fi...
