Re: Help with 911e history
I have a couple of notes on this car in the records at porsche club. first is i believe the original registration was MUW 228L although neither this nor the other three registrations given show up on the DVLA enquiry screen. The car may be on the DVLA enquiry system against another registration (las...

Re: 1967S history
Ah ha that is clearer. It was the fact you quoted the production date as May and there are only two AFN cars with a recorded May production date and they are the last two imported for that model year. I have your car down as an April production with a May import and I have the colour noted as Aga Bl...

Re: 1967S history
Was it originally Polo Red in colour Mark?
If so I think it was the last S sold that model year by AFN and looks like it was a collected from the factory by the 1st owner.

Re: O/T: Microsoft Version 8.1!
All Macs are fantastic but their pricepoints are high. Particularly for the laptops. As a household with 3 iMac desktops and a MacBook Pro we are fans here but I cannot justify the price difference between a Windows laptop and another MacBook for my work machine. Price is the only thing stopping Mac...

Re: Border Reivers Silver 2.4S
Hi Vic. I believe the car was previously decked out in 2.7RS look with ducktail etc but has been returned to original spec other than the 2.7 engine size it still retains. If so that is probably how you remember it.

Border Reivers Silver 2.4S
Anybody know anything about following car currently advertised at Border Reivers? I did a search and could not find it being discussed. Reply by PM is fine.

Re: Wanted : 964 c2 or 993 c2
Both can be epic. An hour on the right road, hustling along, not dropping below 4.5K revs and knowing nothing including the engine is going to break is difficult to beat. When you are not doing that I found the 993 was a better all round car. The biggest thing I didn't like about the 964 (and it rea...

Re: Wanted : 964 c2 or 993 c2
A bogo standard 964 is a very nice thing and I did many many enjoyable miles in mine. Not sure I get the current pricing compared to some other Porsche models but either I am wrong on that or they will correct over time.
