Re: Hankering after a 356 Help Needed
Owning a 1958 356A and a 1967 RHD Alfa Giulia Sprint GTV I can recommend both but they are very different, not least in terms of value. The Alfa is a great all rounder and less valuable (so less of a worry) and relatively easy to work on. Parts are all available and much cheaper than Porsche parts. ...

Re: New to me - 1994 993 C2 Manual
Bit of leather restoration using Colourlock Classis Grey Filler and Dye. Kit cost £60 and is very easy to use. Clean, sand where needed, fill, sand, apply dye with sponge - 2-3 coats. A few before shots. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51939873133_789b69b253_c.jpg Untitled by CARMANWAITINGINTHES...

Re: New to me - 1994 993 C2 Manual
That’s a nice looking car. There are still some bargains around in the 993 world if you don’t mind a higher mileage. I bought mine during lockdown, a metallic black C2 manual with 200k on the clock. Perfectly usable as is, but I’ll probably do something fun with it in the future. Sent from my iPhon...

New to me - 1994 993 C2 Manual
I have always liked the 993, moreso than the 964, and whilst I have owned the latter (a tatty C2 manual cab), I have never owned a 993. Until now! Saw it on facebook, it was relatively cheap (time will tell no doubt), the seller was a really nice, genuine enthusiast and its in a colour that I couldn...

Re: 6 x 15 x 4 minilites with Vredestein Sprint Classics
I have a set of these in dark grey/black with track tyres on.
They have had little use and have sat in the dark.
PM me if any interest - £400 and I can dig them out and send pics/

Are these days long gone?
Could you fly to Europe and drive a classic car home?
Or would be wrapped in red tape, the car impounded/crushed, your passport seized and an Interpol alert issued?
I am assuming its nigh on impossible now.
Thanks
Jonathan

NOW SOLD - Volvo P1800S - 1968
NOW SOLD Hi, I am helping a friend out who owns this early 68 RHD P1800S. He has had it for 14 years. Last MOT was 2019. Then along came a pandemic and the car has been a bit neglected. It is a complete car and the engine runs but it needs TLC. It has some rust in the passenger side floor and some b...

Re: 1967 Alfa Giulia Sprint Veloce
When your car is off in storage for months you start thinking about selling it. Irrational (or perhaps rational) thoughts of reducing numbers start plaguing my thoughts! I really should keep it. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51296975044_50964c1251_c.jpg Untitled by CARMANWAITINGINTHESKY , on F...
