Re: Olympic Blue / Silver metallic 1972 US Import 1.7L
There are times when I wonder why I elected to have the summer off and do stuff in winter. The workshop was a tad chilly this morning https://i.postimg.cc/1fxvFY5H/p-KZxp-Lj-BSgah-YNYA1-SFh-w.jpg But with the heater on it soon got to a sensible temperature. So I built up the indicators and side lamp...

Re: Olympic Blue / Silver metallic 1972 US Import 1.7L
I have also rebuild the brake compensator thingy. I did contemplate fitting it as was. But when I took it out of its storage bag, I didn't think it was good enough. https://i.postimg.cc/PNR2XnGv/P1060137.jpg So I ordered the rebuild kit, and did my usual strip down, paint parts and get some plated. ...

Re: Olympic Blue / Silver metallic 1972 US Import 1.7L
Happy 2019! I can't believe it is 9 months since my last update. I blame a broken camera, a fabulous summer which meant it was way to warm too be inside, breakages of other cars (three alternators on 3 cars in one year!) and a house move. So, 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the 914. I guess I should...

Happy new year!
Targets for 2019 are;
Finish my 914 (third year I have said it will be finished...)
Use my 964 far more often (but not let that distract me from the 914)
