Re: Porsche 911 Early Glovebox Light!

Jeepers .... (polite) - are these different from other similar tilt and switch lights in old porsches (interior lights ... even in older 928's) , I guessed they were all the same (and have a few of them ??) - ching ching ??

Re: Stock 23mm or 26/27mm rear torsion bar?

Clean up and protect what you have ... rebuild , and save lots of £ (would be my choice) .... 26mm is seriously stiffer than 23mm (spoken as engineer) ... assuming raw material is the same !

Re: 64 65 66 Porsche 911 RHD platform and database

Robin, looked at this again today , and realised that there is another "NI" car missing from the list ! The late Dessie Nutt's car - yes , the yellow rally car. Reg is easy to find , but not sure about chassis number. I am assuming that Michael , is now "in possession" of it , bu...

Extra point if you recognise the exact Suzuki model in the background (it's not common !)
1970 Suzuki T125 Stinger with the black intermittent tail pipe (if all chrome between the silencer and tail pipe it would be a T125 Flying Leopard)
Extra point granted - congratulations !

Re: Has ebay uk market place changed ?

OK , thanks for the feedback - sort of what I had thought , but now have a better feeling for the why .... pity , it seemed better in the past (probably true of lots of things !!!) Not sure that there is a better alternative ? (Gum tree I have found fine for things like used vehicles , but not sure ...

Has ebay uk market place changed ?

Just curious - if it's my impression or reality ? Go back a few years to when I last posted some stuff for sale on ebay (old motoring related) - within hours / days ... lots of views , some watchers , and sometimes even a few early bids. Fast forwards to last week : (trying to clear out some old mot...

Low emissions , for cars of a certain age (g/km sub 100 , and reg 2013 for example - from personal experience (1.1 diesel Hyundai i20))

Re: The cost of filling up your car ...

There is a blindness to electricity. It just comes out of the wall and you pay for it, nowadays quite a lot. You just plug in and all is great, few have a power station in their back yard, or a forest of windmills on their horizon. 240v is dirty, you just don't see the source, don't smell it, don't...
