Bosch 3 pin CDI box any condition

What have you got in the back of the shed. I'm looking for 1 or 2 original 3-pin Bosch CDI boxes.

Working, not working or suspect.

Watch out for Aussie sales tax too. In theory none if you export it but these boys like to pocket it anyway.

Re: 2.2 or 2.4T engine

Thanks guys. I think we have it sorted now. Result is we have (on customer behalf) a partially stripped 2.0S engine for sale. Needs P&C's and the heads overhauling. Bottom end good with 3.2 oil pump, timeserts etc. And a 914/6 complete car (converted four) for sale with a choice of 2.0T engine, ...

Re: How does the thermal timeswitch work

A little advice based on our experience. Make sure that all of the feed pipes are in really good condition before re-activating the cold start system. That is not dry & cracked. Also the supply pipe from the solenoid valve can foul against the MFI pump drive belt. We've seen the fire damage this...

2.2 or 2.4T engine

Hey boys and girls - what have you got stashed away? We're looking for a complete (ish) 2.2 or 2.4 motor to help a customer out of a tight spot.

We have a van a trailer heading to Germany next week to collect the booty acquired from the Essen show. Returning via the top of Holland.

Re: Essen anyone?

I can report that show was very good and on its way back to it pre-covid form. We went from Wednesday to Friday and I'm still not sure if we saw everything. The manufacturers haven't return yet though. Everyone was super friendly and pleased to see us, hotel great, on-site street food & beverage...

Re: Classic Beetle question

Hi Winston. We converted a ‘74 Beetle 1200 to IRS recently. It’s still here if you want to come and see it. We have a jig to position the trailing arm mounts before cutting & welding. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230322/91949427aced87c05954a182f1b7e50b.jpg https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/...
