Thanks for that Nick - would that basically mean that I need to cut away the area I've highlighted in this photo?

Excuse the duplicate posting - I've put this on the 911 board for help, but it's relevant to the progress of my project. Mine looks different to yours Derek - I seem to have these additional brackets - would it be possible for you to let me have a photo from a bit far back - I'm having trouble getti...

Thanks for that Derek - I appreciate the photos. It seems like yours just bolt on - mine have another bracket underneath it and I'm not sure where it needs to be cut out

Thanks anyway

Moved on a bit further but hit a couple of snags Firstly Simon has fitted one of the new panels he made up (around the torsion bar hole) but unfortunately the hole doesn't line up with the bar http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a314/markslade/DCP_1375.jpg You can't see it from this pic but believe me...

No worries - I've been approached by a guy called crayford on the forum who can sell me a twin outlet sports one for the 3.2 carrera. He says it's a bit louder than standard. I suppose the noise all depends on what happens inside the box - baffling etc I'll be driving the car every day so I could se...

Thanks for this - I don't like the 3 outlet thing though - that's the one KS has on his black baboon. To me it looks like neither one thing nor the other. Just my opinion though.

Just spotted these pics - can you tell me where you got the coool exhaust from? Also:-

1. Is it a lot louder than standard?
2. Any idea if I could get something similar to fit an 87 3.2 carrera? (backdated)

Thanks for your help

Cheers

There's a guy on ddk that does the necessary brackets for the boxter adapters - I think it's Rod somebody (just checked - it's Rod) - he does the suspension strut braces - he was at Husborne on Saturday next to me - currently working on his own backdate project. I think from memory he was charging £...

No jean I've still got the grill. The good news is I also bought a chrome/alu one myself, so I'm looking to sell the black one.

I do need to work out how to fit the chrome one - it's only got holes at the moment.

Cheers

More progress - it's a bit at a time now though. The main thing is Simon's been working on is shaping up new pieces to go forward of the rear arches, and surrounding the torsion bar hole. Firstly there's some corrosion in there which he's going to cut out and secondly the torsion bar cover is a mess...

Hi Jean, You have a PM with detailed pics of the rear bumper - didn't want to clutter this post up with too many details bumper pics (rivetting though they are..) Have you thought about GRP bumpers? Don't know if anyone does them but you'd save quite a bit of weight which has got to have a good effe...
