Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?

Went to the Torrance DMV to register my 912 back in the US. Failed. A superb man who's warm spirit, enormous knowledge and hard work enriched the lives of many in the Porsche community, and no doubt further afield.

It was an absolute privilege to have known you Chris.

Re: What did you do in/on/for your Porsche today?

Decided I'd like to go to the Fairmile meetup yesterday. Rear wheel bearings are a bit loose, so pulled car out of garage, jacked it up, removed OSR wheel to discover this... http://i493.photobucket.com/albums/rr291/jamlip/2017-03-15%2016.40.07_zps2sdazunu.jpg What the f***? Re: DIZZY

Just to throw a cat amongst the pigeons - I have an RSR 0012, plus Pertronix, on my car and I like it. If you look at the advance curves for a 022, RSR 0012 and the 123 ignition (the version with the built-in advance maps), they're all kind of similar. 022s are old, expensive, German-quality items, ...

Rosepassion, eBay, and visits to the US (Pelican etc).

Otherwise, you're paying for the convenience of the item being in-stock, in the UK, which is sometimes worth paying for.

Re: sugar scoop to 911 headlights

Beetle headlamps fit, but the screw part of the attachment is different. The Beetle bezel has a tab at the bottom for the screw, whereas the Porsche unit has a hole in the bezel itself.
