Re: Lucky and unlucky at the same time

A few years ago there was a thread on Pelican about a guy that got squashed under his 911.

Horrible way to die. Double-up on axle stands, and throw the wheels under the car, too.

On second thoughts, I'd sooner be dead than fork-out on a new set of Fuchs. Perhaps just buy a lift.

Re: Sound Deadening

I was looking to save weight, so mixed microbeads into Tetrosyl underseal to create a poor man's version of Lizard Skin. Then added some sound deadening matt to the floor, doors and firewall. Engine pad in the bay. I think that's it. Road noise and engine mechanical is pretty reasonable. My exhaust ...

Re: First Used Singer For Sale - UK

i get the singers are supposed to be special things, but if I had a budget of £1/2m and a time-line of 2.5yrs I think i'd rather build (or pay someone else to build) something of my own creation.. pretty sure you could make something pretty spectacular AND have enough left over to buy an RS  S...

Re: Coffee Time!

As the video began, I felt the impending dread of yet another shallow-depth-of-field-YouTube-masterpiece, scratchy-beard, creative-industries circle-jerk.

But no! Fresh insight and truly beautiful work. The drone shot at 6:26 is mega, too.

Spied some familiar cars on those cups :)

OCTOBER 2017 UPDATE!

Earlier this year, Photobucket started charging to hotlink images from their site.

If you are seeing broken image links in this thread, download Google Chrome browser and install the extension 'Photobucket Hotlink Fix'.

Photobucket Hotlink Fix for Google Chrome users

Earlier this year, Photobucket began charging users $400 to hotlink their images from its site. This has ruined lots of build threads, which now feature the Photobucket ransom logo in place of images. However, help has now arrived. If you're a Google Chrome user, download an extension called 'Photob...

Re: Terrot MT1 Motorcycle restoration project

Thanks for the encouragement everyone. Been a bind with this engine, the Classic Car IVA issue on the 911 and now the insurance threat to my motorsport Lola Porsche! Everyone seems to want to take my toys away or at least de-value them! I'm not home and dry yet, but certainly closer. :) I suspect s...
