Yes it can be fitted with the engine in situ assuming the actuating cable is all fitted and routed correctly

I tried the reusable silicone gaskets - they were useless so went back to the original Cork type and have had no problems since

I asked them for a quote on a few bits a few years ago - it turned out it was cheaper to buy and ship from the US than from the EU site. However, the exchange rate was considerably more favourable then so that might not be the case today.

How bad is yours? is it not repairable?

You could aslo try Fraser at Otley Van Trim - he has (or had) a couple of 914's he was breaking so might have what you need

Everything is so expensive these days! Thse heat exchangers should last forever though. Would you get a custom back box made?

I know some people on 914world have been working with Harrington on the bumpers so might be worth a search on there to see if they've got the fit right

Have you seen the replacement bumpers you can get from the Harrison Group? NMot cheap but cheaper than rechroming!
