Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

You might not know but if you were considering our CDI+ box, you can turn your existing tacho (or any 911 tacho) into a 10K tacho just by fitting a 10k front face. The box has an inbuilt scaling/calibration factor so it can be set to operate at any number scaling from the live RPM signal. The saving...

Re: Meet Ralph - 1970 ST project

Hi Rich, if you go for one of our 175A alternators you can go smaller on battery capacity. I run an Odyssey AGM (PC925) in my SC and a Deadweight (prototype) in my 993. With the battery isolator, we have on occasion had issues where the isolator cannot sustain the current for the AC. TBH, this has g...

That isn’t an RPM transducer. That’s the choke for the CDI unit.

Re: Black center speedometer

^ If you run one of our CDI+ ignition boxes, you can use the tacho calibration feature to operate a 6 cylinder tacho on 4 cylinder or vice-versa.

Re: '73 T wiper function questions

Pretty sure you keep speeds 1 and 2. An additional toggle switch would be added to provide the intermittent wipe when the main wiper stalk is 'OFF'.

This is basically the same as how the later 911s delay wipe works - e.g. when in the 'OFF' position.

Re: 912c

Neil Have you read up about John Willhoits development of his engine conversions? It’s an interesting read of all the avenues he went down, twin plugs, CDI, fuel injection. It answers a lot of questions. What JPS have done is developed an engine package and backed up their designs and products with...

Re: 912c

I've driven it! Lots of fun although it was very twitchy as it had been setup for track when I had a steer on bumpy local lanes.
