Re: Tyre choices
Thanks Andy, I had been told that but wasn’t sure. I think may just have to go for it, but lot of money if it doesn’t work.

Tyre choices
Hi all, I’m trying to figure out tyre choice for my 67 912. I really want a period looking tyre with the right characteristics to suit a Porsche, such as the Pirelli CN36’s or Blockleys, but I have a set of 7” American racing Torq thrusts and the manufacturer’s both don’t recommend their 185/70 R15’...

The 69E and 69S shells are both now sold, thanks Angus
Still got the 67 912 shell if you are interested.

Re: 67 912 my own take
Managed to straighten out all the crumpled up tin and add on the extra bits that I was missing, so engine and gearbox now ready to go in. Air filters look bit on the clean side though.

Early opening quarter light door top passenger LHD
Anyone in the U.K. got a complete offside door top (passenger side on LHD car) with opening quarter window that they’d trade for a driver side for my 67??
I have two drivers and no passenger [emoji2361] Happy to put bit of money in on top if its more complete that mine. Just need one to finish my car.

Cheers guys!
Yeh we are quite lucky to have our unit, we have several rooms, back half of the unit is just full of pinball machines, so blacked out the windows in there so it’s all lit up really well by the pins.

Re: 67 912 my own take
Hopefully then mate, can’t wait to see yours built! Managed to get an hour in on mine recently. So I stripped the front bumper off and removed the over riders which I hate! And de trimmed it. All the holes will be welded up. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200415/1356298d272cc0f5626137c811217bc8....

Re: 67 912 my own take
Great project. In your intro you mention kids and belts, I used a set of TRS 4 point harnesses in the back of my 356 for my son at appx that age. They are made specially for Greenpower (electric racing cars for schools) and are a pukka race harness but in kids size. My son has now outgrown them (5'...
