I have run the '3 pipe' silencer on a 2.2 on weber, a 2.4 on mech Inj and now the 3.2 in my Bitza 911T from 1991 to today.(and it was not new then so a bit empty inside by now) The noise levels are a bit OTT with the pipes open but the throttle response is much better on the 3.2 (injected) but was n...

It is indeed a jet so to meter the 'dose' to the cylinder. What about trying to blank it off completely and start the engine on '5' as it is the cold start only, so once running becomes unused as the soleniod stops running too?
