Re: Wanted LHS headlamp for RHD '84 3.2 coupe.

Struggling to find one, didn't think it would be this hard. All usual suspects have none. Nick, thank you. Not handed but must be from a RHD car. Black rim preferred to match the one remaining. Available new but daft money and now not Porsche branded.

Thanks, Chris.

Wanted LHS headlamp for RHD '84 3.2 coupe.

As above. Mine fell out and was never found again after a recent short test drive..... Left side for a RHD car (left and right are the same but LHD and RHD are different).

Thanks, Chris.

Wanted LHS headlamp for RHD '84 3.2 coupe.

Went for 1st drive after partial restoration 2 days ago and got to destination without left headlamp! Retraced my route and found broken lens glass but no sign of whatever remains of the rest! Has anybody got a decent one to sell please?

Re: Off topic cycling chat for the cyclisti out there..

You must be confusing "road races" (massed start) with "time trials" (minute interval starts against the clock, typically 10 or 25 miles but can be much longer). Time trials are the No.1 most popular cycler race event in the UK with clubs running evening events during the summer ...

Re: Off topic cycling chat for the cyclisti out there..

I know little about real serious cycling, but: Why are the rear wheels on sprint road/track bikes 'solid' and bike used on the Tours normal spoked designs? Solid disc wheels are used when you are riding on smooth, flat roads by yourself. Such as an individual time trial or a Triathlon away from the...

Re: pins for engine bay plug

I'm sure it's available as a complete plug with sockets from Porsche. I'm sure I also the solder-in sockets are available separately, I had to repair mine with bits from a new plug and bits already existing.

If you find yourself with another nice bit of ash and some time...... I'd buy some if you made 'em.

Porsche 968 coupe/sport for sale.

Reluctant sale of my 968.... Ok, I know it isn't an IB but it has to be sold to help pay for new extension project.... It is a 1992 Coupe in red, but with suspension off a sport (same as non-M030 CS) with big brake conversion, poly bushes, strut brace etc. It drives amazingly well, engine super-stro...

Re: Hello from Cookham, Berks!

OMG! Is it really a year since I joined? Garage project finished, house extension project started, so STILL no progress on car projects, except wide-boy 3.2 will probably end up gulf blue now! At least I have the bits if not the time grrrr. 968 must go to fund the build as well as give me a bit more...

Hello from Cookham, Berks!

Hi there all, I have been a member of the Impact Bumpers for many years, just thought I'd see what it's like over here.... I own a 3.2 wide body project, red and amazingly rust free, may soon be green though.... Also an SC targa for those sunny days and a 968 daily driver. Having just moved to Cookh...
