Read the current edition of 'Classic Cars'. There's an excellent article describing Rustmaster's skill at sorting out a FIAT 124 Spider. (www,rustmaster.co.uk)

Looked a great job, too.

Now to get the 912 down to Hatfield for a session.

Looks as if a great time was had by all. As my 912 is still in 'bits' (rally preparation strikes) I was unable to get my name down in time. But...I trust there will be a next time? I've always found Andy to be extremely helpful when I've yelled for help, but I have yet to meet the man. One day, I ho...

Hi, Turbo, and welcome.

Just in case you are close to Ypres, there are a number of Porsches out on the Poppy Rally at the end of March (20 to 22). Based at the Novotel...but I suspect most of the action will be centred around Boezinge!

I am entered in my 1966 912...complete with DDK badge!

Thanks...they're just down the road so worth a call!

But that looks like BHRC type protection. I only need lightweight for road events.

Rally bits for 1966 912

Wanted:

Suitable brackets to take Cibie Oscar fogs and the suitably modified horn grille that allows such brackets to peer out! (I'm not sufficiently clever enough, nor suitably equipped, to make them myself!)
Underbody protection skids for petrol tanks and engine.

First event in Ypres in March...

That's what I thought...I just accept that the Registration Cert is wrong! But at least it's under 1600cc for most motor sports classes!

Re: GT Porsche mag

8) as we know they were 1596cc engines and more important they were not stripped out 911 interiors they were 99% the same as the 911.. via any optional extras which were also available to the 912 Now I am really confused. :( Why? Dr B Johnson's excellent book tells me I should have a 1582cc engine....

May I come too?

Andy's just sorted out my post Cape to Cape fuel problem. New fuel pump was needed...just before we did the Norwich Union Classic. All sorted the day before we left for Cheltenham!

Thanks, Andy.

Now I need to get the floor pans sorted!
