I'm pretty sure the 904 is one I built for the late Nick Brittan possibly 15 years ago ( I'll have to check my records ) , you'll note it is RHD as back then LHD vehicles weren't allowed to be driven in Australia. To put the asking price into perspective you could have a matching pair freshly built ...

I lived next door to John Renwick from about 1975/6 to 1981 he hasn't changed much. I had a 2.4S at the time and after some banter about cars vs bikes we ended up having a drag race, if I remember correctly down the road which leads from the A273 to Ditchling which is dead straight for quite a way, ...

Andy, If you lowered the car significantly without raising the steering rack you were almost certainly getting toe-out on bump. Raising the ride height would reduce/eliminate this and also give you more static toe-in so you need to check it (if you haven't done already) to make sure it is not excess...
