Nick's correct - it's almost certainly a modern Prototipo. Can't be 100% sure without seeing the whole wheel as Momo made several models which were very similar. Do you want to fit one of these wheels to your car ? I have about half a dozen Prototipos at the moment in various guises (there are many ...

I've used GTX - both 20/50 & 15/40 - in 911's & 912's.

Excellent performance & cheap price means that you can afford to change it regularly.

Nice work.

Just one question though - why include the 'Recaro' badge ? As far as I am aware, Porsche-supplied Recaro seats never had the Recaro logo on them.

Previously posted this reply on the other (identical) thread before I saw this one so have copied it here: The actual importation process is pretty easy once you get a reliable shipping agent (there are plenty around). What can be the difficult part is finding an honestly-described, relatively rust-...

Steve - you have to pay VAT ! The Binding Tarif (BTI) gets you the reduced rate of VAT at 5% as a historical vehicle. It's the import duty that you should not pay as the car is of European origin.

Not wanting to sound like a 'kill-joy' but - I hope you people running significantly undersized/oversized/lower speed-rated tyres on your Porsches don't have any accidents (or if you do I hope you've told your insurance companies about your mods)... ... if your car is badly damaged & requires ex...

With a front tyre size of 145/70 x 15" the car will already be over 1" lower than std ride height at the front. Fitting 205/70 x 15" tyres on the rear (if they fit without rubbing) will give an overall difference between front & rear tyres of more than 3" . Then lowering the ...

Yes, but 205/70 ? If you're going to fit wider tyres on the rear & want to keep the overall diameter similar to original typical sizes are: 185/70 (or 195/65) front & 205/60 or 216/60 on rear. Overall diameter of a 205/70 x 15" tyre is 1.1" larger than 185/70 x 15" & 1.3&q...
