Yeah ive heard some good things too.

The only problem i can see with fitting hydraulic stays is that you would prob flex the panels when trying to close.

I have seen many golfs with bent bonnets that have had these fitted to and thats a metal bonnet!!

You will find that the price you have quoted is for a second hand chassis which will be plus shortening, reconditioning ect so will soon mount up. Rich, there is a company in Stafford that 'stripes' the tyres iirc? Did have a business card at work, ill have a look for it.
