Re: Quarantine Curation - Car Films

"To Live And Die in L.A."

Must see neo-Noire directed to by Bill Friedkin, epic car-chase and a young Willem Defoe as the villain.

Good stuff.

Re: The optimum steering wheel: 73T hot rod.

Excellent project, bold and effective. I also admire the particpating of Garry the upholstery guru. I was able to modify my stock three spoke SC wheel with the somewhat unicorn factory extended hub, a factory option, integral with the wheel (four spoke model in later Carrera G-bodies). I bought it o...

Re: Warm rough idle

Just about any CIS diagnosis requires a decent pressure test kit. As Dusty said, the WUR is pretty much the key variable in the system because it controls the fuel pressure, and fuel pressure is how the system varies mixture. There's also cold start functionality and other external devices to aid dr...

They (your new tires) look fantastic. So cool to be able to shod the car with something that looks right. John

I'd urge great care with those Fuchs; seems like you'd have to go uncomfortably deep to get beyond those pock marks? Just urging caution from a strengty and safety perspective. John

Re: 930 Backdate

I work in the trade and am always so impressed at your shop and the work you guys do. Not just the 911 stuff; the 356 you documented must represent a template as to what can be done with replacement sheetmetal - as imperfect as it. I wonder what percentage of all the shiny 356's out there have 'orri...

I really like your workspace; natural daylight... lacking in may newer buildings (silly).

There will always be plenty of stock cars for future study/reference. Make this one yours.
