Hi, I use Heritage - 3 x classic (Porsche 912, Karmann Ghia and Golf) and 1 x daily - really competitive especially as i have 9 points. also included is full breakdown including Europe.

Ive recently stripped mine back to bare metal - original primer was Light green with Burgundy paint.

On flakey paint I've also used an air line - lifted the paint a stripped back - worth a try.

Hi,

Does the rear engine lid have spacers / washers between hinge and lid on the forward bolts to lift it up. I've no spacers and the engine lid sits to low. From memory i thought there were a couple of washers when i removed but was a long while ago.

What colour should the bonnet hides be on a 1968 car?. They were satin black but when stopped the original car paint was underneath.
Whist on the subject should underneath the bonnet be body colour or black ?

Hi Gary, I've just removed my wing and had stripped back to bare metal, Bottom of rear needs replacing plus a small strip where the wing bolts to the inner fender.
