Re: WANTED Boxster for daily driver
Comedy comment from Cubist about mums.net Wife goes on there all the time and I don't think cars are a common topic. I had a 986 Boxster S and it was great. Bought from Portiacraft and who honoured their warranty to replace some bits. So cheap to buy now amazing value for the money - I'd have anothe...

Re: 912s up in value as well?
Sold mine to the first person who came to look - took 10 days.
They are certainly in demand and prices are rising.
Wish I could have afforded to keep it - I'll be back when circumstances permit!

6 inch wide steels from Stoddard in chrome would be my personal choice

Re: tyre size question
By the way he also had to put tubes in 2 of them since the valves wouldn't fit. They are bigger valves apparently than the modern tyre valves he was carrying. Do you think that's ok?

Re: Carcoon vs car covers
Garage roof has asbestos and seems to be ok except when the rain is really heavy. Got a lot going on at the moment so don't want to touch the roof for time being. Think I will probably buy the high end car cover and put a dehumidifier in there.

Carcoon vs car covers
Hi all, So I'm interested in gathering your thoughts. I have a problem with my garage roof leaking in very heavy rain so the car can be a little wet even when in the garage. Was thinking my options are as follows: 1) Carcoon - had one of these before but the zip broke - good but the price is a probl...

Max at Revival sorted out the gearbox on my previous 912. I need some gearbox work on current car so will be taking it to him in summer.
