Its a 2-pin mini timer connector.
The male connector is harder to come by, but these guys sell it... (I'm sure a lot of other places do to)

Probably down to not all software interpreting the exif orientation data embedded within a jpeg image taken by a digital camera. Some will show it as natively arranged in the file and some will rearrange the native orientation based on what the exif data says about how the camera was oriented when t...

Re: Anyone driving an EV?
We’ve run a Leaf and an Outlander PHEV for the last 3 years. Much prefer the Leaf to drive out of the two and will replace the Outlander will a model Y as soon as economics allow... running costs, NVH, convenience (warm defrosted cars ready to get into in the morning) compared to Dino juice are hard...

I paid £400 (end of 2013) for 42 sq m of CIPA GRANITI ELBA GREY SPECKLED PORCELAIN FLOOR TILES. But they were 200 x 200 so took a while to lay!hot66 wrote:Out of interest Gary & Shambly, how much a squ M did your tiles work out ?

Re: Garage flooring recommendations - paint vs tiles vs ...?
I went with low cost industrial grade porcelain tiles from eBay which I laid myself. A few years on, I'm happy with my choice, and would do the same again. I had interlocking plastic tiles in my previous garage. The biggest issue for me was discolouration from reacting with the compounds in car tyre...

Designspark mechanical is a free cut down version of SpaceClaim that is quite easy to get going with. (I use SpaceClaim myself).

From my EFI blog... which might be relevant...
An important note is that most ECUs assume 1&4 and 3&2 cylinders fire together (1 3 4 2 firing order) whereas our VWs fire 1&3 and 4&2 (1 4 3 2 order). So leads 3 and 4 must be swapped between coil and spark plugs on our engines.

Re the shitter, Not sure what you do oop in Yarkshire but I tend to make it a habit not to shite where I eat so quite happy on that one Brandrup sell a kit (tray, porta potti, shelf raising instructions) for storing a small chemical loo under the kitchen unit. Thats what did (having a small child a...

Re: Can anyone here get me discount on a new VW California
Try Laine at SMG Tonbridge. That's where we're bought ours (T5) back in 2012, and he was good to deal with (and it looks like he is still there). Get the factory extended warranty... there is a lot to go wrong... ours had no end of issues (actually, all sorted by the time the warranty ran out) but w...

Re: So .. Sales of new petrol and diesel powered cars banned
While I'm eating my sarney here's some quick maths: Yesterday the peak demand of NGrid was around 35GW, which fell to about 20GW overnight So for 7 hours (11.30pm thru to 6.30am) the grid could have quite happily kept going at 35GW (i.e. 15GW spare capacity), which after 7 hours would have produced...

Re: So .. Sales of new petrol and diesel powered cars banned
If we include Cars, vans and Lorries we currently have around 35 Million vehicles on our roads. If we make some very conservative estimates of 100kW average per vehicle and an average 10% duty cycle we will need to provide around 350GW of generating capacity to keep the country moving. 35 x ^6 x 10...

So the news today, from 2040 sales of new cars powered by petrol or diesel will be banned This is going to be interesting . Re: Time to change, diesel or petrol?
So, tell me about the pollution created by power stations around the world The argument is that the pollution from burning fuel producing electricity can be more easily dealt with at one large source than it can spread over tens of millions of small sources that move around. And if (a big if, I kno...

Re: Time to change, diesel or petrol?
If only Mitsubishi had employed a stylist to design the car rather than, presumably, a poor partially sighted person they'd probably sell loads of them. My wife refused the pre-facelift model on this basis..... Mind you, one of the best things to be said about the Nissan Leaf's styling is that you ...
