Re: Is this Mickie Most’s first Porsche 356?
Hi Drew
Speaking will Bill the other day and after a few text's he was sent a photo of Mickey's wife with the 356 while they were in SA by his son in law.
Not sure if they keep the reg details in SA for older cars but cool none the less
Cheers

Re: AMCO Luggage Rack Mounting Hardware
This is an interesting read, shows the mounting hardware for the AMCo unit https://derwhites356literature.com/New356Stuff/LuggageRacksfor356Porsches.html You can get the Lietz rack mounting hardware from here (perhaps mod it to work?) https://replicaparts.co.uk/products/porsche-356-all-1950-1965-lie...

Re: AMCO Luggage Rack Mounting Hardware
Hi Layercake I guess the fitting hardware is probably going to be very hard to find. If you have the actual luggage rack but not the hardware I would have a go at making some as there seems to be only the following: The long machine screws, support tubes, retaining tabs and then likely a washer and ...

Re: Is this Mickie Most’s first Porsche 356?
Hi Drew When I worked with Bill from Dakota Classics we had Mickeys 935 Kramer rep 911 in and did a full engine strip rebuild on it. At that time (circa 1999) I rebuilt my SC engine alongside as we did his. You can just see the 935 side skirt in the pictures attached. As Mickeys car has a new clutch...

Re: 356A Coupe restro
Probably a slightly easier install in the daily than in the 356
Really nice looking motor, that exhaust looks interesting as its got more standard sized silencer boxes compared to other sebring systems i've seen.
Love the tall velocity stacks too, great wor,
How long till CLM? eek
