Re: Greetings all. Need guidance please
Many thanks to everyone . Thanks for the gaskets. This problem has caused a great deal of stress and money over the past year. It did however make me learn new skills and take me passion and resilience to new limits. A journey indeed. Thank you all again. Kind regards Michael

Re: Greetings all. Need guidance please
Cheers for the info. I managed to get the left exchanger off the car and sure enough there was loads of old oil a gunge in the bottom of the exchanger all the way to the end of the rear of it. I gave it a blast with the car wash lance . Straight away I could now see that the unit is not an airtight ...

Re: Greetings all. Need guidance please
The oil leak from the bottom covers was fixed with new gaskets so no current oil leak. I’m not keen on drilling into my ss exchangers so il just whip them off and give them a clean . Can’t be that difficult they were only put on a couple of years ago.

Re: Greetings all. Need guidance please
Last time I was out in her the smoke was coming in footwell passengers side with fan on . Ah ha by Jove I think we’re onto something lol. I’m sure removing the heat exchanger will be no easy task but at least I now have a task and perhaps the beginning of a plan to bring this to an end. Thanks
