it was probably too " fresh" when you used the brake cleaner. No worries after it's baked in!

I've tried a lot over the years, but " zinc spray perfect " by Wurth is the only stuff that lasts for a very long time. It is relatively cheap and even has the perfect grey color. On the picture you can see the paint after 7500 km's.
