I think a rivnut will be too long and likely interfere with smooth running of the glass, I may be wrong but I don't think shallow rivnuts are available? Would love to hear if it's been done using rivet nuts.

I’m missing a captive nut insert on my 69 911 door frame. I don't suppose these are available new so does anyone have one available or, a badly damaged frame with the nut still in place they could bear part with? Many thanks.

Sold 69 engine lid. Appears to be straight and rust free. When striped of paint it reveals some small dents, lead work with small holes and possibly some damage repair.
